A Little bit about me
Welcome to CHOOSE TO MATTER. I am Teanna Evans. I am a mom, wife, teacher and community member and someone whose is always looking to do things better. After 25 years of educating middle school minds, momming to three amazing humans while teaming with my best buddy, our wonderful hero, my do or die teammate, in our small "“Life is Rad"“ beach town, I am left with this question:
How do we make education a cornerstone of our community where we prioritize education in order to empower students to become engaged citizens?
How do we develop educated citizens, knowledgeable voters, critical thinkers and collaborators that have the ability to communicate and create?
I am curious and I am looking forward to diving into our educational system and asking lots of questions, looking at many perspectives, different views and wide experiences of this issue in order for us to do better for our students, our future.
As they say, when you know better, you do better. Let’s do better! Remember…Words Matter. Actions Matter. CHOOSE TO MATTER.
